The fact that you make no sense doesn't mean you're an artist
By Elsie Brady
How silently they tumble down
And come to rest upon the ground
To lay a carpet, rich and rare,
Beneath the trees without a care
Content to sleep, their work well done Colors gleaming in the sun (цвета светятся на солнце).
At other times, they wildly fly
Until they nearly reach the sky.
Twisting, turning through the air
Till all the trees stand stark and bare.
Exhausted, drop to earth below
To wait, like children, for the snow.
How silently they tumble down
And come to rest upon the ground
To lay a carpet, rich and rare,
Beneath the trees without a care
Content to sleep, their work well done Colors gleaming in the sun (цвета светятся на солнце).
At other times, they wildly fly
Until they nearly reach the sky.
Twisting, turning through the air
Till all the trees stand stark and bare.
Exhausted, drop to earth below
To wait, like children, for the snow.

The fact that you make no sense doesn't mean you're an artist
By Kenn Nesbitt
“Dear students, the summer has ended.
The school year at last has begun.
But this year is totally different.
I promise we’ll only have fun.
“We won’t study any mathematics,
and recess will last all day long.
Instead of the Pledge of Allegiance,
we’ll belt out a rock ’n’ roll song.
“We’ll only play games in the classroom.
You’re welcome to bring in your toys.
It’s okay to run in the hallways.
It’s great if you make lots of noise.
“Your video games are your homework.
You’ll have to watch lots of TV.
For field trips we’ll go to the movies
and get lots of candy for free.
“The lunchroom will only serve chocolate
and Triple-Fudge Sundaes Supreme.”
Yes, that’s what I heard from my teacher
before I woke up from my dream.

If it was not for dogs, some people would never go for a walk.

The fact that you make no sense doesn't mean you're an artist
The greater danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it.
The fact that you make no sense doesn't mean you're an artist
Lean liberty is better than fat slavery
